At Cosen, cutting is only part of the process. Moving material safely and efficiently into and away from the saw is equally important. Cosen offers bandsaw material handling solutions ranging from standard roller tables to powered in-feed and outfeed conveyors, cross-transfer systems, and custom heavy-duty handling designed around the saw and application.

Standard Roller Conveyors & Tables

For straightforward applications, Cosen offers standard idle roller tables and conveyors for supporting
material on the infeed and outfeed sides of the saw.


These systems provide a simple, reliable way to improve material flow and can be configured around the
size and working height of the saw.


Cosen's standard-duty roller tables are available in 5 ft, 6.5 ft, and 10 ft lengths.

Heavy-Duty & Powered Converyor Systems

For long or heavy material applications, Cosen can provide heavy-duty idle and powered roller conveyor systems configured around the saw and material requirements.


Conveyor systems can be customized for:

 

  • Length

  • Working height

  • Roller spacing

  • Roller material

  • Load capacity

  • Infeed and outfeed requirements

 

For Cosen automatic-feed saws, powered conveyors can be integrated directly with the saw controls. As the saw's shuttle feeds material forward or backward, the powered conveyor can synchronize with the feed movement to help support and move heavier stock through the cutting process.


Powered in-feed and out-feed conveyors can also be incorporated into other saw applications where coordinated material movement is required.

Cross-Transfer & Material Staging

Cosen can provide cross-transfer systems and lift-and-carry arms for moving material laterally across the handling system.


These systems can be used to stage multiple pieces of material and transfer stock horizontally into position for upcoming cuts, helping reduce manual material movement around the saw.


Depending on the application, material handling systems may include:

 

  • Cross-transfer arms

  • Lift-and-carry systems

  • Multi-zone roller sections

  • Material staging areas

  • Coordinated conveyor and transfer controls

Custom Discharge Solutions

For applications requiring additional handling after the cut, Cosen can evaluate custom discharge solutions such as:

Controls & Saftey Integration

Material handling systems can be coordinated with the saw controls and can incorporate application specific safety features where required, including:
